ALL DAY ALL NIGHT

ALL DAY ALL NIGHT is a publication created and edited by Laure Jaffuel, published by the Onassis Foundation, in collaboration with DOLCE publishing. Dealing with the subject of the public space in Athens, the book is the outcome of a research during the Critical Practices program at Onassis AiR, in Spring 2020. While the research period overlapped with the strange times of the global pandemic and the lockdown in Greece, the notion of public space became even more urgent to address.

The bilingual publication includes commissioned texts and drawings, extracts of interviews that Jaffuel initiated during her research with different actors of the Athenian scene, as well as a series of posters promoting fictional events. The invited contributors are: Tristan Bera (artist, writer and filmmaker), Dimitra Ioannou (writer, poetess, and founder of “A Glimpse Of” independent journal), Takis Katsambanis (writer), Barnaby Tydeman (poet, photographer and artist) and the preface is written by Olga Hatzidaki and Maria-Thalia Carras (curators and founders of locus athens). The commissioned artworks-posters are designed by Marie Jacotey (artist), Natacha Mankowski (artist) and Isabelle Mauduit (editorial designer and illustrator).
